After graduating from Michigan State University in Interior Design, I spent two years working at Ethan Allen in design sales. This experience helped me to develop the skills to build strong client relationships. I take great pride in my ability to connect with my clients and decipher their needs.

In 2007, I began working for a commercial Architecture Firm, W.A. Brown & Associates. They specialize in retail establishments, government facilities, and high-end car washes. I prepared full construction documents for large scale projects to obtain building permits, as well, as day to day project management duties including coordination of trades, deficiencies lists, project bid meetings, construct detailed elevations, sections, and 3D models. In conjunction with working full-time at W.A. Brown & Associates I took the NCIDQ exam and received my certification as a licensed Interior Designer under the requirements by the Council for Interior Design Qualification.

Following a move to Toronto I started working for ACI Wright Architects. I was brought on to complete the design drawings, specifications, and manage a mid-sized home renovation project. I gained extensive experience creating detailed 3D renderings using Revit. 

Shortly after the renovation was complete, I decided I wanted to develop my residential design skills further by learning from one of Toronto’s renowned design firms, Robyn Clarke + CO. I work closely with the firm’s principal designer, Robyn Clarke, and I’m an integral part of leading design projects from the initial preliminary design meeting to the completion of design. I work closely with my clients to create a space that completely reflects their needs and wants. I’m involved in the selection of all of the finishes, furniture, fixtures, and accessories. I also construct design drawings including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, electrical layouts, room and custom millwork elevations, sections, and construction detailing.
